The Abiquiu Cliffs — Southwestern Art Metal Print, New Mexico Landscape Wall Art

This is my interpretation of one of my most favorite places in the world: The Abiquiú Cliffs in New Mexico.

The first version of this piece was a birthday card for my friend Liz. One fine day, not long ago, we wandered to the Rio Chama in Abiquiú. John, Liz’s husband, patiently let us jump from the car and take photo after photo, all along the crazy Monastery Road!

The warm layered ochre and terracotta; the feeling of deep time in the rock; the endless space in the sky. A piece of Heaven on Earth.
